Terms of Use
Effective date: October 13, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SupafastTech LLC, a company in the United States (Wyoming) ("we", "us"). They apply when you install or use the Global Metro Map app or this website. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. What Global Metro Map is
Global Metro Map shows a diagram and a map of the Buenos Aires subway and related lines, station and landmark cards, search, and an estimate for a route between two stations. You can use it without an account. The app creates an anonymous guest profile, described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Unofficial app
Global Metro Map is not an official app. It is not made by, approved by or connected with any metro operator, transport authority or government body. We drew the diagram from open data. Names and line markings belong to their owners and are used only to say what they are. The app does not use operator logos or emblems.
3. Information only, not a timetable and not a safety tool
- The ride times, the gaps between trains and the route times shown in the app are approximate. They come from open data and our own calculation, they are not an official timetable, and they can be wrong or out of date.
- A route in the app is an estimate based on the number of stops, changes and walking. It does not include delays, closures or crowding.
- We do not show live positions of trains or ferries.
- The diagram is not drawn to scale. Distances and shapes on it are simplified.
- The ferry layer is a drawing only. It does not show ferry routes, times or availability.
- Stations, lines, entrances and landmarks can be closed, moved or renamed. Check the operator's official source before a trip that matters, and follow the signs and staff in the station.
You are responsible for your own decisions and your own safety when you travel.
4. Your use of the app
You may use the app and the website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or resell our data package, drawings or texts in bulk, except for the open data described in section 6;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law gives you that right;
- attack, overload or bypass the security of our servers, or use the app to harm others;
- send us feedback that is unlawful or abusive;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law.
5. Our rights
The app, its code, its design, the diagram, the icons, the texts we wrote and the Global Metro Map name belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the Apple App Store rules. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything to you. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it to improve the app without paying you or naming you.
6. Open data and third-party content
- Map and station data is © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License (ODbL). See openstreetmap.org/copyright. The attribution is shown in the app. The part of our database made from OpenStreetMap data is published as an open copy at github.com/supafast-tech/global-metro-map-data, and the About screen links to it. Your rights to that open data come from the ODbL, not from these terms.
- Names and links also come from Wikidata (CC0).
- Ride times and gaps between trains come from the Gobierno de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, BA Data, under the licence Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Argentina (CC BY 2.5 AR). We adjusted some train times to the 2026 timetables.
- Landmark photos come from Wikimedia Commons. Each photo is shown with its author and licence, and the licence of the photo applies to it, not these terms.
- Country flags: country-flag-icons, MIT licence.
- Links to Wikipedia, map apps and other sites lead to services we do not control. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for them.
7. Your data
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at globalmetromap.com/privacy. You can delete your guest profile in the app, under About, "Delete my data".
8. Price
Global Metro Map is currently offered without a charge. If we add paid features later, we will show the price and the terms before you buy, and we will not charge for what you already have without your agreement.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, pause or remove features, the data package or the whole app. The app downloads city data from our server, so without a connection you may only have the last version you downloaded. We try to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
10. Ending
You can stop using the app and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (rights, disclaimers, liability, law) continue after that.
11. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app, the website and the data are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the data is complete, accurate or current, that the estimates are right, or that the app will fit your purpose. Some countries do not allow certain disclaimers, so part of this may not apply to you, and your mandatory consumer rights stay in force.
12. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost time, missed trains or connections, or loss that comes from relying on the app's estimates or data. Our total liability for any claim connected to the app is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or intentional harm.
13. Law and disputes
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there where the law gives you that right. Before going to court, please write to us at support@globalmetromap.com so we can try to solve the issue.
14. Apple
If you use the app on an Apple device, you also agree to the following.
- These terms are between you and us, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no duty to provide maintenance or support for the app. Support requests go to us (support@globalmetromap.com).
- If the app does not meet a legal warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price if there is one. Apple has no other warranty duty for the app. Other claims about a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for claims about the app, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection and intellectual property claims.
- You must follow the terms of any third-party agreements that apply when you use the app, for example your mobile data plan.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you once you accept them.
- You confirm that you are not in a country under a US embargo and not on a US list of restricted parties.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you disagree, stop using the app and delete your guest profile.
